  • What Happens During an Eclipse? by Baby Professor. (ebook/64 pages)
  • Eclipse Chaser: Science in the Moon’s Shadow by Ilima Loomis. (ebook/80 pages)
  • What Happens During an Eclipse? by Jennifer Lombardo. (ebook/32 pages)

Podcasts

I haven’t listened to these episodes yet, but they are from podcasts that our family typically enjoys. Links to Spotify but feel free to find on your favorite podcast platform.

Kindle Ebooks

A few books that I couldn’t get at the library I saw were on great deals on Kindle!

Free Learning Guides

Several bloggers and content creators that I enjoy have shared guides that you can download for free.

  • Nat Theo. Includes info, demonstration instructions, scripture verses/activity, word search, scripture coloring page
  • Treehouse Schoolhouse. Includes scientific reading, video links, poetry, info pages.
  • Silo & Sage. Includes info, activities, video links, student worksheet pages.

Tunes

From the Wow in the World podcast, a playlist of Solar Eclipse party songs! (1hr 6 min)

Related Novel/Read Aloud

Years ago I taught the novel Tangerine to my middle school class, and they loved this mystery about a boy who is nearly blind from staring at a solar eclipse but sees plenty of mysterious things in his Florida hometown. You can find this as an audiobook or ebook on Hoopla, or on audible!

Happy viewing! Be safe!! Check your library for eclipse glasses! Several in our area still had them!
