The Most Bang for Your Audible Credit {Kids’ Chapter Book Collections}

Since one credit is one credit on Audible, regardless of the item’s list price, the key to getting the most bang for your Audible credit is… finding books with high price tags and long running times!

By and large the suggestions in this roundup are audiobook collections of chapter books– so, you’ll be getting several books for one credit. For example, select the Henry Huggins Collection for one credit and you’ll get six books with a total running time of over 15 hours! (And also it’s narrated by Neil Patrick Harris and hilarious!)

To learn more about Audible, you can read my post The Ins and Outs of Audible to find out how it all works! If you’re a prime member, you’ll get two free books with your free trial (that you keep forever, even if you cancel). Play your cards right and you could get like 18 books with those two credits, thanks to audio collections! 🙂

The prices I’ve listed are those that would be offered to non-members purchasing a la carte as of my writing of this post. Audible members use one credit to purchase any book from $.69 to $699 (if that existed. LOL).

The Chronicles of Narnia (7 books). Regular price $40.94. Running time 33h45m.

    Another way to get a bang for your buck is to “buy” the book at Amazon (I mean a free download of a classic) and that title becomes greatly reduced in price at Audible. I got Anna Karenina that way for just a few dollars.
